There's been an unexpected bonus to Mr. A's weight loss. At least it's a bonus in my book; he might think otherwise. It seems his internal thermostat has been readjusted...as in more closely aligned with mine.
The guy who used to claim we shouldn't put the electric blanket on the bed before November 1 or November 15 or some other future date ahead of the first cold night I was lobbying for its return is now piling the afghans on top of the spread with the blanket still in the closet. And the same guy who frequently shunned jackets in chilly weather was himself chilled to the point of shivering at the football game on Friday night despite a plenty of warm clothes. There was always the potential for tornadoes in our car as the cold air blasting from the vents on his side would collide with the warm air coming from mine, but the dials are set on the same temperatures now.
Yes, thanks to his diet he's shed some layers of insulation, lowered his blood pressure and lost his previous tolerance for cold weather. Maybe I won't be the only one constantly wearing an extra sweater this winter.
