Both Doug & I got bikes this summer - and we have enjoyed them so much. It is much easier for me to bike ride then to walk (knee issues too). We have a gorgeous trail a couple miles from our house that is an old railroad bed and it goes on for miles. It is flat (unlike our neighborhood), and a perfect afternoon is to get on the trail, ride for 4 miles, stop at the cider mill before continuing on a mile or two and turning back. In fact, that is the plan for this afternoon if the weather cooperates. Yesterday was a total washout!:)
Enjoy your weekend.

  • Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. --Ralph Waldo Emerson
