What do you get when you combine Valentine's and chocolate and scrapbooking supplies? This cute and very clever project that I just had to share with you:
The photo and idea definitely belong to Mel's Kitchen Cafe and I hope that it's O.K. that I've copied it here since credit is given and I want you to go check it out for yourself.
The creative person behind Mel's Kitchen Cafe food blog has shared this very fun little gift you can make for a special someone for Valentine's Day. Actually, since it's nine pieces of Hershey's Nuggets candy cleverly wrapped in a pretty box you can make from scrapbook paper, you can make them for lots of someones and they won't have to be all that special either.
The link will take you to her blog post where not only does she have step-by-step photos and instructions for creating this little treasure but she also has downloadable PDF files for the patterns. There's even an SD file you can download if you have a Silhouette machine. It can't get much easier...a few scoring lines, a few folds and you've got something sure to wow. Better yet, you can use this idea year round because, as she very smartly points out, "valentine" is the same number of letters as "ThankYou" so this little gift idea is very adaptable.
I'm constantly amazed at the clever ideas people come up with...and I have the feeling that when you make and give these away, people will put you in that category too.
Thanks for the link! Super cute!
