We're in Kansas. The visit was timed to coincide with Wayne's high school class reunion. I won't tell you which one but if it were a wedding anniversary, he'd be golden.
And the snowballs? Well, it's not the weather although we both thought it was plenty cold for our blood when we arrived yesterday afternoon. It won't snow at 52 degrees but it won't make me smile either. Layers are my friend.
No, the snowballs have to do with what happens when an aged laptop tried to make a run for it from the hotel luggage cart. It was the first step that got it even though it wasn't that far. The lights come on but that's about it.
Without a computer, there's no way to get photos up on the blog. And the Typepad app has word limits so while I can post from my phone, they'll be shorter.
As the day has gone along, we keep thinking of things we use the computer for but won't be able to get to now and the effects of the laptop's attempted escape just keep snowballing.
I have my phone and there's always the hotel's computer in the lobby but it's not the same for my better half. He'll be twitching from computer withdrawal before we get home. This vacation will be different...we'll be unplugged (sorta) and that might be a good thing. We'll just have to see.
Have a lovely time anyway - maybe schedule Wayne some time on the hotel computer if he starts the night sweats and DT's!
