A month ago we were enjoying the sights of cool, colorful Colorado. To be honest, it makes my head spin to realize that a month has passed already since it seems like we just got back. I don't know where all those days went but the calendar doesn't lie.
Thanks to my bunkmate, though, I got to go back to Colorado today...at least in my memories anyway. That's because Wayne shared a video with me taken in the heart of Estes Park where we spent the first two days of our trip. Remember this post about all the elk in the middle of town? Now you can experience the same thing we did...well, almost. When you see the crowds standing at the bridge and some wire fencing on the right of the screen, the people are standing at the golf green and the fence is keeping the elk from getting on it. That was on one side of the road and we were walking to and from downtown on the other. And when the Highway 36 sign pops up on the screen, that's the highway we were on when we came upon the two bull elks butting heads and trying to out-muscle one another. The elk in the video are at a different spot but it's the same road.
So here you go off on a vacation to cool, colorful Colorado...even if it's just for a few minutes. Enjoy the view.
Great video! We were lucky enough to see moose sparring in Grand Tetons Nat. Park - and big horn sheep near Lake Louise ... totally unforgettable experience.

That was fascinating, TFS! I had to chuckle at the tourists being chased though....

I thoroughly enjoy your blog, but, this is the best yet.
Showed the video to my husband. He liked it, too.
