If there's such a thing as Powerball Mania, I guess we're part of it. I can't remember the last time we bought lottery tickets, but a jackpot of $500 million is just too tempting to resist. After all, you can't win if you don't play.
Given our luck in the past, all of which has been bad, I'm not spending any of it yet but still it's fun to dream of the places we'd go see, the things we'd do to the house and the people we could help. And we're not greedy...we'll share. So if you're feeling lucky and are holding a ticket too, there's plenty to split up among us with a prize that size.
We have a standing joke around here about how our ship can't come in because we don't have a dock. Maybe this little slip of paper is a dock in disguise. And if not, we'll have had a little fun dreaming about what might have been.
Good Luck. All possible body parts are crossed for you & Wayne.
One of our big national lotteries only ever gets to $50 Million - after that they add in additional prizes of $1 Million each so there could be many possible winners, not just one of the super prize.

Will you be sharing with your big brother? Maybe buy me a Pepsi?

As a lark, most everyone at the branch of the library where I work went in together on a ticket. The branch manager was fantasizing about all of us retiring in one fell swoop. The one guy who didn't get in on the ticket was elated. He has only been there a few months and cheerfully said he thought that would mean he'd soon be upper management. Unfortunately for him, it looks like we'll all be around for awhile longer. ;-)
