Alas, Lady Luck smiled on someone else in last night's Powerball drawing. We were close...okay, not really; we had a grand total of only one of the six drawn numbers across the five tickets we bought. A pitiful showing but it was still fun to imagine all we could have done with such a huge sum of money.
My brother Jerry was hoping we would be winners too. In true big-brotherly fashion, he was thinking of me and not himself as all he wished for was that I'd treat him to a Pepsi with my winnings. Heck, that's a request I can grant even though our ship is still out to sea. My treat next time, Jerry...OK?
Until then, we'll share a virtual soft drink together...you'll just have to overlook the fact that it's a Coke. Best part is it comes with a smile.

Cute! We only had one number also. 24 of us played at work and got one number and a powerball...and won tada..... 4 bucks! Oh well! Better luck next time the jackpot is high...that's the only time we play! LOL!
