Every thirty days or so when I flip the calendar over to a new page, I shake my head and think, Wow! Another month is gone already! It's the first of the month, then I turn around and it's the end of the month. Anyone who thinks retirement would be boring and time must move like molasses should think again.
And then there are no new pages; the calendar is at it's end. How can we be looking 2013 right in the eye when I've just gotten used to writing 2012? I haven't figured out a way to slow down time so I might as well embrace the fact that I'm going to need a new calendar.
And that's why I was so happy to see this post on Write.Click.Scrapbook. Free digital files so you can make your own calendar, and they're really cute too. My favorite is one with the months in 3x4 format. They were designed with Project Life in mind but since I don't do that, I see other possibilities. They'd be a great addition to a scrapbook page or they could be resized for a desk calendar. Just open them in your photo editing software, set the crop for 3x4 and crop the months one at a time. You can resize the individual months to whatever size you want. I see a project for my Bind-It-All in my future.
But the little sizes are the only ones available. There's a download for a CD case calendar and another one for a full-page calendar you can drop photos into. Looks like a great gift for a grandmother or proud aunt.
The good thing about these files besides the fact that they're free? There's no time limit on when you can get them. But don't wait too long to get them...2013 will be here before you know it.
thanks Brenda! I got a calendar for my daughter on the blog The Owl Barn-she loves owls-but I didn't get one for myself and somehow missed this link on WCS!
