Inspiration

  • Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. --Ralph Waldo Emerson

Riley was able to open up his "indestructable" toy in 10 minutes. When I caught him, he was happily destuffing it and had so much white polyfill in his mouth, he bore a striking resemblance to Santa. The toy is still in my mend pile so I totally get your aversion to sewing. I'm very impressed to hear about your wedding dress and found it interesting we share a cross stitch past.

I'm the complete opposite... love sewing... clothes, curtains, whatever.... HATE sewing on buttons. I've been known to make a new shirt for one of the kids, one night, rather than sew on 2 buttons by hand!!! :o Jude.x
