My little tag book is all printed, assembled and decorated...ready for the rest of my pre-class homework for Me: A to Z. That would be filling the pages with a words or phrases that describe me to use as a foundation for the album we will create in class. The finished result will be an encyclopedia of me.
It's an interesting concept, when you stop to think about it, finding five or six or seven words or stories for each letter of the alphabet. Some will be easy...gardener, Kayla's grandmother, traveler. Others might be a challenge; I'm already worrying about what I can write down for letters like q and z. It's an interesting exercise in self-analysis and self-discovery in the hopes that the pages will truly reflect who I am.
Perhaps I need a little input from family and friends to get a more well-rounded picture. Hiram would definitely say slow eater...I'm always the last one finished when we eat out, giving him an excuse to order dessert. Brad might offer Big Wheel nixer; he claims his psyche was permanently damaged by our failure to purchase him a Big Wheel when he was a kid. Talk about an interesting exercise...I could learn a lot by this inquiry!
There's still two weeks before the class starts so I have plenty of time to fill in my little tag book...and figure out how to define myself.
What a brilliant idea to get input from other people :) I'm totally lifting that idea. I have a few definitions of you, for you: thoughtful, delightful, genuine, inclusive and kind. I'm sure there are more, but that's off the top :)

Brenda, I've yet to sign up for CZ's ME class. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed here at the start of school and all, but I hate to miss it. Everyone in my LOM class kept raving about being in Cathy's DYL class. One main concern is my lack of digi experience. Hit some real speed bumps in the technical area while in Library of Memories earlier this year...it's making me gunshy. In my digi arsenal? A yet unclaimed FREE 30 day trial coupon to PSE. But your little tag book is SOOOO CUUUTTE!

I like the idea of the tag book. I've always concentrated my focus on other people and places, but I find it hard to tell my own story. Maybe asking family members their input will help. Oh yeah~your "Z" could be your "zest" for living!

Love this idea. I will have to put it on my list. :)

I'm taking this class as well and can't wait for it to start. I took Cathy's DYL and LOVED it! I'm also a little hung up on certain letters but my little tag book is filling up. We scrap about ourselves so infrequently, so this is a great way to "force" us to do that. And I agree with Lori above, you definitely have a zest for living!
